I decided to change the template of my blog. sana magustuhan niyo.

Anyway, last Thursday, after we reported our report on the Indonesian Press System for my Journ100 class, we decided to go to the MCO Tambayan. Pagdating ko sa tambayan, ayun inayos ko ulit yun para sa MAJOR ISSUE SYMPOSIUM ng MCO which I am the PROJECT DIRECTOR. Pagkatapos kong ayusin ito, akala ko makakapagpahinga na ako ng biglang...

Nagtext si ate Armi telling me to go upstairs. So yun umakyat ako ng skywalk kinakabahan ako ko kung anong problema (baka tungkol dun sa sympo). Pagdating ko dun pinakilala ako sa isang ka-org niya si ate liar. Iniisip isip ko bakit ako pinapakilala dito.

Then biglang sabi ni ate liar, GUSTO MONG MAG-ARTISTA? KASI KAILANGAN KO SA THESIS KO NG AKTOR. at yun, I WAS SHOCKED and CONFUSED, di alam ang gagawin.

So I said YES. Sige, I'll be an actor dun sa thesis niya. at yun na nga nabigyan na ako ng role. (I won't elaborate my role much, baka bawal). Madami din akong linya, mga 19 lines din. Whew! Ewan ko ba. Our shoot will be on Friday, so medyo magaabsent ako sa mga class ko dun.

That is a new thing for me, di pa ako nagaact in a film, first time ko. So I hope it will turn out good. So ngayon, I'm trying to memorize my lines. I hope I can do good talaga. Wish me luck.

Quiapo Misadventures

Long time, no post...

I just want to forget that day and move on with my life...

So in line with that I decided to go to Quiapo last Sunday...

I really like Quiapo, di na siya ganun kabaho at kadumi like noon.

So yun, I got some DVDs.. I got na THE GODFATHER DVD COLLECTION, AMERICAN HISTORY X and MEAN GIRLS (for my sis.)... so yun nga, after I went to UP to meet my groupmate for our j100 report.

Then we I got home, I tested my DVDs and guess what my THE GODFATHER DVD COLLECTION were not working (I mean all of them) so I decided to go back in Quiapo.

So yesterday after my arnis class (around 9am), I left UP to go to Quiapo. Traffic ang papuntang Quiapo but still I managed to get there around 10. Pagdating ko dun, I went to the store were I bought the DVDs. Pagdating ko dun, tinanong ko agad. SO he tested the DVDs and guess what. NAGWORK siya dun! then we tested it again dun sa ibang players nila IT WORKED PA RIN!!! bale we tested it in three players and they all worked perfectly. Napahiya tuloy ako. Pero sabi nung store owner, bili daw ako ng DVD player cleaner. I went back na lang sa UP and arrived there at 11.00.

So walang napatunguhan ang aking Quiapo Adventure! What a waste of time!

Unexpected

Have you ever got the feeling that something should have happened but it does not? Or the feeling of that you were just having a normal day and then suddenly something better got in and made your day a little bit more interesting?


Well, I felt those feelings yesterday.


Una, I was expecting na magrereport kami about MACHIAVELLI on our SocSci2 class. I mean yun lang ang activity na I devoted almost my entire week for it. Alam mo yun, late na kong natutulog sa gabi, just for that. Umuuwi ng madilim na langit para mag-research about him. Then yesterday, Nagdala na ako ng sound speakers and my CD player for our background music. As in ready na for the reporting. Then when I was at the library reading more about him, I got a text message from my groupmate saying na POSTPONED ang aming reporting and we'll do it on Tuesday!

Pangalawa, I was walking out from CMC to go home. Then I saw a jeep to SM (which was my usual ride home). I ran out, chased after the jeep then finally got inside. There, I saw my orgmate Con. Tapos yun, we talked and talked. Getting into SM, we got inside and saw that SESSION ROAD will be performing. I really don't know the band but I know their song SUNTOK SA BUWAN. We decided to watch the performance. We got down, bought a CD and went inside the performance area. Asteeg and kanilang performance.
After that, we got some pictures taken with them and CDs and Posters signed. It was truly a very interesting experience.

Machiavelli

I'm now into Machiavelli. Machiavelli is a political thinker during the 16th century. Basically he believed the power of state over morality. Justice over morality kung baga. You can do anything even if it is cruel as long as it is for the good of the state. Bale, the end justifies the means.


Anyway, I had expressed my Machiavellian look into life earlier. I was on the bus going home from SM to our stop. Here's the story. As I paid the conductor the fare, he charged me 10 instead of 9 pesos which was the usual fare.


CONDUCTOR gave me a 10 pesos ticket, and gave me P10 as change for my P20.

JERICK: Excuse me, di ba manong, nine pesos lang ang fare.
MANONG: hindi matagal ng 10 pesos yan
JERICK: (with a loud voice) Lagi akong sumasakay ng route na ito so alam ko na nine pesos.
MANONG: Baka nagkamali yun ibang mga driver sa pagsingil sa iyo.
JERICK: (almost shouting) Goddamn, STUPID! Baka ikaw yun mali, I had been paying 9 pesos for almost 6 months and this is the first time na chinarge ako ng ganyan.

So there it is, the conductor surrendered and gave me an extra 1 peso. It's not that I need the 1 peso or anything but I just to point out justice. He's obviously thinking that I might not come from here, so he'll charge me an extra. MALAS SIYA, NATAPAT SIYA SA AKIN! (Ewan ko, I learned that from UP, to stand up for myself) I just want to show him that he should not be treating their customers like that! I just want to serve justice di ba. I don't mean to make him be embarassed, I just want to correct that and teach him a lesson.

First Week Of Classes (and its after-nights couterpart)

SUPER BUSY WEEK! Wala akong masabi... Nakakapagod!

Ilalagay ko lang ang mga nangyari sa akin mula SUNDAY hanggang today.

SUNDAY: Went to SM Megamall and went Ice Skating. Ang galing ko na pala mag ice-skate kahit two years na akong di nagiice skate. Pero di naman ako kagaling. Surviving lang. Hindi na sa gilid kaya ko ng pumunta sa gitna. We went skating for almost three hours. Gusto ko ulit mag ice skate... Aaaw!!!

MONDAY: First day of School for 2005. Went again to my chem1 and journ100 class. Asteeg!!! Pansin ko nga parang super MISS ko na ang aking mga schoolmates. Walang tigil na usapan.!!! Noong gabi, tumungo kami sa may Dencio's sa may ABS-CBN. Walang tigil na pagkain! Ang sarap ng Crispy Pata!

TUESDAY: Second Day of School. As usual super habang talking time again. Ang tagal kasi naming di nagusap. Ang daming bago! Noong gabi, wala akong ginawa. Buti na nga lang.

WEDNESDAY: No school!!!!! Pero gumawa pa rin ako ng schoolwork sa bahay. Ang lungkot tanggal na sila GUS and HERA sa Amazing Race. Noong gabi, kami naman ay nag-BADMINTON. Haay Physically Nakakapagod. Masakit pa nga ang aking left arm.

THURSDAY: Nag-quiz kami sa Chem. Nahirapan ako!! pero at least naka 33.5/40 ako. Ok na yun!!! Noong gabi, lumabas kami ng mga pinsan ko for a dinner sa Red CRAB sa Tomas Morato. Nakauwi na kami ng mga 12 ng hatinggabi.!! Busog ako pero super antok!

FRIDAY: Kulang ako sa tulog kaya parang I don't feel going to school. Pero I went pa rin sa aking 8am na class. O di ba? 4 hours na tulog tapos biglang nag-arnis. Kaya ngayon, matutulog na ako! ZzZz

Goodbye 2004, Hello 2005

Gusto ko lang matawa kaya I made this "fearless" predicitions for 2005. Nakita ko ito sa isang bolang krystal sa tabi ng aming aquarium.! Enjoy!

2. Di na tatangkad si GMA...
3. Matatapos na ang Mulawin sa unang quarter ng taon
4. Gagaling na magtagalog si Sandara Park.
5. Dadami pa rin ang pink and purple walkbridges sa Manila
6. Magpapakasal na si Korina Sanchez at Mar Roxas bago matapos ang 2005 (Ewan ko lang?)
7. Magkakaroon ng Harry Potter Book 6 ng bandang June-August
8. Magkakabalikan si Kris Aquino saka si Gov. Mark Lapid
9. Same pa rin sa 2004 ang magiging situation sa Iraq but slightly better
10. Dadami ang binebentang DVDs sa Quaipo
