Pangasinan Trip

Kakagaling ko lang mula sa trip ko sa Pangasinan. Pumunta kasi ako dun para sa debut birthday na aking HS Friend na si Jeka. Ito na ang pinakamalayong overnight party ko. Feeling ko palayo ako ng palayo. Dati nasa UP lang ako, tapos umabot ng Fairview then sa Rizal ngayon sa Pangasinan. San kaya susunod?

Umalis kami dito sa Manila ng 6am kahapon. Ako nga lang ang representative ng HS friends ni Jeka dahil yun iba daw busy. Masaya ang biyahe, first time ko makapunta sa Pangasinan kaya todo sight seeing ako (kaya lang nakatulog ako dun sa ibang part).


Sa Malasiqui, Pangasinan ang bahay nila Jeka. Pagdating ko dun, hmmm pinakilala ako dun sa mga kapamilya at classmate niya from UP Baguio. Ang hirap pag ikaw lang magisa at wala kang kakilala. I felt out-of-place nun kasama ko yun mga friends ni Jeka from UP Baguio. But after nun, medyo nakausap ko na rin sila (mostly UPd topics ang pinaguusapan).

Pumunta kami sa San Fabian upang magswimming sa beach. Enjoy naman ang beach kahit medyo mainit at itchy. Nakapag-practice din ulit ako ng aking mga skills sa swimming. Haay!

Then nun gabi ,start na ng debut program ni Jeka. Hawaiian ang theme ng party, so obviously naka Hawaiian outfit ako (sorry wala akong pictures!). I'm part of the 18 laces (replacement ng 18 roses sa typical debut party). Naks! Nun tinawag yun pangalan ko, meron pang kadugtong na "UP Diliman". Pinapakita talaga na dayo pa ako from Manila, feeling ko pampered na ako.

After nun may kainan at sayawan na. Di rin nawala ang liquor drinking. Nakainom ba naman ng Red Wine, Gin at Sparkling Juice sa iisang event. Tapos first time ko rin makainom ng Bailey's! Ang Sarap niya!!!! Mahal lang kasi.

Gusto ko sana di na matulog hanggang umaga, kaya lang di ko nakayanan natulog na rin ako ng 2am. Nagising ako ng mga 6am at naisipan kong mag-billiards. First time ko maglaro, pero at least napapasok ko ang billiard ball dun sa hole. Hehe.

Umuwi na kami ng after lunch. Natulog lang ako almost ng boung biyahe. Haay, mamimiss ko pangasinan, masarap pala dun. Gusto ko ulit bumalik.

Ang aga ng summer!!! Ang init na! Waaah! Tataas nanaman kuryente namin nito.

Call Center

Our new HP scanner that my uncle from the US gave us is not working. As I place the installer CD inside, a pop-up comes out saying that the scanner is not supported by my computer! Hmmpph.

So, I decided to call up the customer care hotline of HP. I am not really fond of calling these hotlines for the reason that they don't really give that much help. So then I called the number, pressed a few buttons then waited while a mellow music soothes (or irritates) me out.

Finally I got into the line. The guy on the other line speaks with British accent. Probably he is not a Filipino but I assume that he is an Indian. While on the conversation, I keep on saying "pardon" because I don't really understand what he is saying. Also, my english words starts to run out but I would like to congratulate that I had uttered my words continuously. Harhar.He asked some questions pertaining to my problem. He gave me some advices (I hope his advices will work.). He was also suggesting that I buy a new scanner or something (I don't really understand what he is saying). But finally, I just cut off our conversation because it was leading to nonsense.

I learn a new lesson, Never work on a call center. (But then again, who knows?)

Finding Neverland

Finding Neverland is about J.M. Barrie's (played by Johnny Depp)story on how he had formulated his famous book, Peter Pan. I don't want to elaborate about the story because I really want you to watch it.

Johnny Depp's performance was superb. As compared to his portrayal in Pirates of the Caribbean, he completely removed his trademark quirk. But still I love the way he spoke with a Scottish Accent even though I do have problems understanding what he is saying because the DVD copy has no subtitle feature. Sigh. Also along with all-star
cast members like Dustin Hoffman and Kate Winslet it is truly a magical film. I would also like to note the performance of the kid who portrayed Peter, he is so great.


Truly, the Oscar people were right giving the film nominations like Best Actor for Johnny Depp, Achievement in Art Direction, Costume Design, Film Editing, Original Score, Adapted Screenplay and Best Picture. I hope Johnny Depp will win the Best Actor Award.

Survivor: Palau

Another season of Survivor kicked out. Hmmm. Comments-comments lang.

Once again a new twist had unraveled. Even before the contestants had their first night, two survivors were out, Jonathan and Wanda. I really liked Wanda for some sort of reasons, pretty much I hated the fact that she was out even before the game really started. Haaay!

Then later, Jolanda was out. Haay. Sayang! A good leader pa sana. Haay. Sayang talaga.


Well I just want to give my favorite/bet for this season.

1. Bobby Jon - He's silent yet a good player. Probably

my bet for the final survivor.

2. Janu - This girl showed some guts at the first episode.
3.Ian - a really strong and smart guy! Wala lang.
4. Stephenie - she's pretty! harhar
5. Willard - I always have a soft heart for old people in Survivor! I hope he can survived the game.

Well. Looking forward on the next episode.

UP Fair

Tagal ko na rin di nagpost. Sorry. Super busy kasi ako during the past week so di ako nakapost.

Last Friday galing ako sa UP Fair ng UP. Tagal ko na ring pinaplano pumunta dito. Simula pa lang nagpapaplano na ako with my friends, but still it didn't work out.

Pero nung friday, I promised myself that I'll be going to the fair. Habang naglalakad ako after ng English Class ko nakita ko si KRYSTAL, my high school friend.Hmmm, so I tried asking her na sumama siya sa UP fair and pumayag siya. Hahaha. Natupad na rin ang aking gusto!. Pero ang problema 150 pesos lang ang dala kong pera ng araw na iyon, habang siya 170 pesos lang. Hmmm. ang hirap pa lang magbudget! Buti na lang para sa akin, my high school friend, Wivi, treated me to dinner. Haay! Salamat ba?

We proceeded na sa may SUNKEN GARDEN. Nagbayad kami ng 80 pesos. So compute-compute mga 20 pesos na lang natira sa akin for extra expenditures at the fair kasi i need to have 30 pesos for my fare back home.
So anong masasabi ko sa UP fair. Ok lang naman. At first, we sat down at the grass with Kimbe's blanket (salamat kim!), then watched the concert. The sweetness covered the field as you relaxed and be soothed by the beautiful music. Pero guess what? UP ito, so siyempre may activism involved. After nun so called soothing music, meron ng mga rock along with nationalism essence involved. So dahil dun, nagkaroon ng mosh pit. We got out of our original place, kasi people came rushing in front, jumping. Haay so much for fun.

Then after, krystal left so sumama naman ako kay cara, which is also my HS classmate. I waited for SPONGECOLA to perform before I finally decided to get home. Ang galing ng spongecola! Ngayon ko lang sila na-appreciate. Haha. I got home pala at around 2am. Nakakatakot maglakad-lakad sa streets at night, siyempre may mga bad elements na naglilinger but I survived. Haaay!


All in all, that experience was fun. Kahit na di ko natapos, at least kahit papaano I go the feel of it! Balik ako ulit next year.

It's A Wrap!

Whew. It was a long and tiring Tuesday. Haaay! Yesterday was my second shoot day. I only had 3 sequences to shoot so I was picked up by Ate Dianne at Philcoa at around 2.30pm just after my last class.

Travel time was weird, I got the chance to pass by the new NLEX. They were charging some 42 pesos from Balintawak to Meycauayan which was only less than 10 pesos last week. But it was a smooth ride though, it only took us 30 minutes to get to Meycauayan.

Arriving there I got to feel again the "funeraria" essence. The caskets everywhere, that irritating checkered outfit of the funeraria staffs (it was so irritating! sorry). As I got there, ate armi got me into the Major Issue business. We got to fixed some flaws of the symposium. Haay! Thank You!. We didn't start at the time we are expected to start because there were still some cadavers inside the morgue lab so we cannot shoot. They shot some Obet sequences while waiting.

We finally ate dinner and at about 8.00pm, we started shooting. We can't do anything about the cadavers inside so we decided to shoot while they are still in the morgue lab. It was a really freaky experience working with the dead bodies. Hmmm. Chilly and Tingly.

We shot my three sequences at the span of 8.00pm-11.00pm. I still had some minor problems. The kunot style of acting was still in place. I think we had 5 takes per sequences, it was tiring but at least we got it into near perfection.

We finally wrapped it out at around 12 midnight. Finally, the shoot was over and I got over it pretty well. A unexpected experience turning out pretty well. My first acting job-ever- turned to be not that bad. Thanks to all especially to Ate Liar. Thanks talaga.

I finally got home at around 1 in the morning. I was tired but I still did the letter for the invitation of classes, so I slept probably at around 3 in the morning.

All in all, those experiences are really a moment to be remembered. This may be my last acting job, so I'm pretty glad to had accomplished it very good. CONGRATULATIONS !

Happy Single Awareness Day!

Today is Valentine's Day. Hmm, or what I call as Single Awareness Day. Hmmm.


Well anyway, I'll just keep my post short.

I had finished reading Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix. It didn't captured me as much as the Goblet of Fire, but hey at least I had learned some of the secrets why Harry is Harry.

Tomorrow is my second shoot day. Wish me luck.

Sila daw ba ang nanalo?!

Kakatapos lang ng Season Finale ng Amazing Race kaninang umaga. Finally, I got the chance to watch the Studio23 live telecast after several weeks of super busy schedule. I love watching AR since magsimula ito, and every winner sa AR ay nagustuhan ko except for this season...


Nanalo sila Freddy and Kendra sa Amazing Race 6. Naiinis lang ako dahil para sa akin hindi dapat sila manalo. They do deserve it because of all the trials they had encountered. But in my opinion, dapat sila KRIS and JON yun nanalo. I just loved the fact that they never had any conflicts during the whole trip and it can be considered to be a big accomplishment.Sila kasi Freddy and Kendra was more on the fighting, trashing and backstabbing. I think that KRIS and JON deserves to win, but sad to say that my bet was not really not lucky after all.

Feeling Artista Na!

Kakatapos lang ng first day ng shoot namin for Ate Liar's film. Laman-Loob pala ang title nito. Ang saya-saya ng shoot namin! First time kong mapasama sa isang production, at bilang isa pang artista! ayos talaga! Nakakapagod nga lang!!! Haaay! Kwento ko lang.

Call time namin is 4:30 in the morning. Nagising ako ng mga 3am. Super antok nga ako kasi the night before ginawa ko pa yung chemistry presentation namin. Haggard kung baga ang maaring masabi ko sa sarili ko. Ako yun nauna dumating sa meeting place, pero after a while dumating na rin yun iba. Mga 5am na kami nakaalis, sumakay kami ng jeep patungong Meycauayan, Bulacan kung saan kami mag shoshoot. Nakatulog ako ng sandali sa jeep pero paggising ko nandun na kami sa aming location.

Ang location pala namin ay isang totoong morgue, as in totoong morgue!. May mga kabaong na nakadisplay, mga bulaklak and the likes. Grabe! Nakakatakot! Di ko iyon kinaya. Pagpasok ko dun sa aming location, meron talagang masangsang na amoy. Di ko alam kung dun yun sa mga patay o dun sa kanal sa tabi.

Na-meet ko na rin ang aking mga co-actors na sila "Obet" at "Tanda". Ang pangalan ko pala ay TIKBOY. Isa akong binatang bagong pasok na embalsamador, "Intern" kung baga. Si Criz Daluz (tama ba spelling?) ng pangako sa iyo (yun si tata isko dun) ay si Tanda, isa mga co-actor ko. Ang galing niya, dami niyang tips na binigay. Yung si Obet naman, isa rin neophyte pag dating sa acting, pero at least kahit papaano meron na siyang background kahit kaunti. Di tulad ko. Harhar

Matapos magbreakfast, nagsimula na kami mag-shoot. Sa una naming scene, super kinakabahan ako! Wala pa akong dialogue dito, puro acting lang. Nung una ang dami ko pang mali, tapos nanginginig pa ako kaya naka-ilan shoot din kami dun. Pero matapos nun, unti-unti na akong naging comfortable sa camera.

Ganun pala kapag production ang daming kailangan. Mga malalaking ilaw, mga dedo lights (hehe..nakakatuwa ang pangalan nito), boom man, sound checker, director of production, wardrobe, tagakuha na notes per take, clapper, makeup artist, production designer at madami pang iba. Di ko kinaya ito. Kaya pala super daming kailangan na pera just to make a 20 minute film.

Matapos nito, tuloy-tuloy na ang pagtake namin ng sequences. Pero habang nagsho-shoot kami makikita mo dun sa kabilang kwarto meron inaautopsy na patay. Shit! Nakakadiri!!! Yaak! Nakangiti pa nga yun bangkay. Nakita kong inalis yun ribs niya, tapos kinuha yun dugo niya. Makikita mo pa nga yun mga tissues at organs. Kadiri talaga! Kaya di muna ako makakakain ng maayos.

Matapos nito, naglunch kami ng sandali. Menudo ang ulam, naiisip ko tuloy yun bangkay , pero kailangan kong kumain kasi gutom na ako. Matapos nito, lumipat kami ng location dun sa kabilang building para sa inuman scene. Hehe! Nakakatawa tong scene na ito! Dun sa isa kong scene na may mahaba akong linya gusto ko nang i-cut yun scene, so sinabi ko TIME-PERS! nagtawanan ba naman sila. Di naman daw kami naglalaro ng taguan. Hehe. Nakakatawa talaga.

Matapos nito, nakapagpahinga kami ng sandali habang inaayos yun set sa labas. Nagdinner na kami, ulam naman ngayon ay Adobo, di ko talaga ito kinaya! Naiisip ko kasi yun bangkay.

Mga bandang 8pm, nagsimula na kami magshoot sa labas. Ang daming taong nanood, mga 150-200 people siguro. Habang nasa labas ako, bigla ba naman akong tinanong kung sino ang artista dito. Gusto ko na sana sabihin na kausap niyo na yun artista eh! Hehe. Madaming mga haka-haka, sabi nila Nginig daw yun shinoshoot, isang commercial, sabi pa nga nung iba nandun daw si Jericho Rosales. Sasabihin ko na sana, wala si Jericho dito, si Jerick lang. Hehe.

Asteeg itong outdoor scene namin, takbuhan lang naman. Nang-snatch ako ng bag tapos bigla akong tumakbo. Hehe. Ang saya nitong outdoor scene na ito!

Nagpackup kami ng mga 10pm. Maaga pa daw ito kumpara sa ibang shoot na tumatagal hanggang madaling araw! Masaya na malungkot ako na natapos na ang first part ng shoot. Masaya kasi makakapagpahinga na ako, malungkot dahil tapos na ang unang part ng shoot kasi na-enjoy ko ang shoot. Ang dami kong nakilalang mga bagong kaibigan. Join UP-CAST nga eh!

Sorry, wala akong mga pictures. Mahirap kasi kumuha pag ikaw yun nasa scene. hehe. Hingi na lang ako ng kopya dun sa mga nagkuha ng stills.

Shoot Day Tomorrow!

Tomorrow's my shoot day!

Just had our production meeting yesterday. There are lots of things pala that needs to be fixed on a film. From the wardrobe, to the name of the funeral parlor (which is our setting). Hehe. But it was fun, i've got to meet my co-actor yesterday.

Call time will be at 4:30 in the morning tomorrow.


Then after that, we'll still have a shoot on Friday, Feb11.

Bad Luck

Have you ever felt that luck was pretty much not on your side. Where everything turns out to be negative.!!! Nakakainis

Well today, luck is not on my side.

It started with the symposium that I was organizing. We submitted the proposal to reserve the CMC audi few days ago. When I got on the CMC Admin this morning, Ate Nanette (The evil residing in the Admin), told me that I had to come back later because she still hadn't finished taking care of it. (Even though we gave it to her last week). Grrr!!! Then this afternoon, kuya arjay and kuya denn got the letter saying that our proposal was not accepted because another org. had reserved the audi first!!

GRRRR!!!!!! I HATE ATE NANETTE!!!

Even though we gave her the proposal last week, we still didn't got the place reserved. We had submitted our proposal first than the other organization! GRRRR!!!!

Then after that, I decided to get home to cool off. I waited for a SM jeepney for about 30 minutes! GRRR! TALAGA! I have to be in the Commonwealth Ave. for 30 minutes getting all those smoke into my lungs!!!

Then after, I have to ride again a jeep on Mindanao avenue. As I got to the jeep, there was a small space for me to sit into! GodDamn! I saw those other in my row, bumubukaka.!!!! Grrr.. I have to seat on that position for almost the entire trip!!

Life sucks for me today, I hope that this bad luck will vanished!
